Mar 2nd 2022!⃝I see it as a trans person’s journey in discovering themselves. He knows that he can’t stay here, he know he has to “make his way home”, but he is still unsure. He can’t understand why he’s allowing himself to have those thoughts, imagining becoming another person, or more precisely who he actually feel at home as. But, when he does, he feels like as if he is flying, that he feels like the “sky’s his thoughts”. I think the missing piece of his skull part is a metaphor to his body which he is unsatisfied with, and I believe “sapphire stone” represents HRT, hormones replacement therapy. In the end, he tells himself to take his time, and take it slowly, and reassure himself that he will know his way on his way back home.
