They both really like each other but her Dad, Dave / Devon Lee Carlson, doesn't approve of their relationship and knows that Jesse hurt his daughter in the past before. (Sorry Dave, I never meant to hurt your babygirl)So, Jesse decides to do the only thing he can do; plead for Dace to let his daughter to be his. It's kind've a cute song if you think about it. Comes off as creepy at first, but it's still really good.
